To ensure the security of your Instagram account and a better connection with our SafeBear application, your social media accounts must have two-factor authentication enabled.

Follow these steps to activate it:

1. Go to your Instagram profile: Open the Instagram app and log in to your account.
2. Access the settings: Tap on your profile picture at the bottom right, then tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of your screen. Select "Accounts Center."
3. Select "Password and Security": In the "Two-Factor Authentication" section, choose "Two-Factor Authentication", then select the account you want to configure.
4. Choose your authentication method: Instagram offers two options:
   • Authentication App:
     You can use a third-party app such as Google Authenticator (for Android or iOS) or Authy.
   • SMS: You can choose to receive a verification code via SMS on your phone.
   • Text Message or WhatsApp (recommended).
5. Follow the instructions: After selecting your preferred method, follow the steps to activate it.
   You will receive either a code in your authentication app or an SMS with a code to complete the setup.

Once two-factor authentication is enabled, you will need to enter a code each time you log in from a new device or application, in addition to your regular password.
