Here are the steps to follow to do so:

1. Access your Instagram profile: Open the Instagram application and log in to your account.
2. Go to settings: Tap your profile photo at the bottom right, then the three horizontal lines at the top right of your screen. Select “Accounts area”.
3. Select “Password and Security”: In the “Two-Factor Authentication” section, choose “Two-Factor Authentication,” then select the account you want to configure.
4. Choose your authentication method: Instagram will offer you two options:
